Join the Chicago College of Performing Arts on March 31 and April 1, at the historic Chicago Temple, for "Love and Redemption" — a double-bill presentation of Giacomo Puccini's Suor Angelic and Jonathan Dove's Tobias and the Angel.
"Love and Redemption" pairs an early 20th-century work in the grand opera tradition with an imaginative and intimate "church opera" composed in 1999. The Chicago Temple provides a stunning backdrop for the depiction of these complex spiritual journeys, which ultimately illustrate the power of divine grace — and love — to bring about forgiveness and redemption.
