Author Nyrobi Wheeler (BA '06, MA '11) will discuss several issues facing Black Women in the workplace and hair discrimination. Nyrobi will share key themes from three anthologies that she has co-authored on Black Women including Shut'Em Down: Black Women, Racism and Corporate America (2020), Can't Tell Me Nothing: The Uncomfortable Hair Truths of Black Women (2021), and most recently Everyday Struggle: How Toxic Workspaces Effect Black Women (2021).
