Young Professionals Association

The Young Professionals Association is a premier networking group comprised of recent Roosevelt graduates and alumni across all industries. Join the alumni group to network and further promote your degree.

Being part of this community offers young professionals opportunities to make meaningful connections with one another by participating in fun social events, programs and other activities.


Participants will:

  • Enhance their network by connecting with young leaders in the alumni community.
  • Learn from a vibrant community while expanding their own personal/professional skills and knowledge.
  • Advance their career through professional development opportunities.

Come find out more about YPA and meet the new co-chairs, Dina Mutawi (M.A. Human Resource Mgmt., ’18) and Amber Alvarado (M.S. Integrated Marketing Comm., ’17). Young Professionals Association offers opportunities for recent graduates to meet other alumni, share experiences and network in a social environment while boosting your career and personal development. We will also discuss ideas/topics for the monthly afterhours meet-ups.


Alumni Night with the Schaumburg Boomers

Enjoy an evening of baseball as the Boomers take on the Windy City Thunderbolts at the Wintrust Stadium in Schaumburg, Ill.
The Boomers will recognize the alumni of Roosevelt University so join us to celebrate our school and you. Stick around after the game for an on-field picture with the group plus help us meet some cool incentives!
Group tickets are $12 per person in Section L, with 50% going back to the University!

  • Professional headshot.
  • An authored spotlight of your accomplishments published on LinkedIn (as available to accommodate).
  • Discounted access for your company to host a table at the Lakers Leadership Institute (not available yet).
